Integrity

We work in an open and ethical way, mindful of the impact we have on the services we support and their client groups.

Quality

We believe in high-quality services and are therefore both professional and flexible in our approach to working with our clients, always striving for best practices and positive outcomes for the homes we support.

Innovation

We believe that our strength comes from our open approach to new ideas, and are creative in identifying better ways of working, and work in a way that constantly evolves, improving on the services we offer.

Accountability

We strive for measurable results and educate all our clients on the importance of taking accountability for their actions, and encourage them to change and develop practice for greater outcomes for the young people in their care.

Our Approach

Here at Nurturing Steps we believe that in order for children and young people we care for to achieve their full potential, and achieve positive outcomes, they must live in an environment that respects their individuality & diversity, provides them with positive life experiences and supports them to develop positive relationships with other children, young people and positive adults.

We hold a strong belief that a home should be child-centred in its approach to the way they work, and that in-order for young people to grow physically, emotionally and socially they need to have positive role models around them who are able to protect them, guide them, nurture them, inspire them and encourage them to plan for their futures.
